Alberta still remains one of the richest provinces in Canada, however with no end in sight, for Alberta’s economic downturn, provincial budgets will continue to be pressurized and strained. We’ve already seen significant cuts to many public services, including funding for schools and teachers specifically. As a result, class sizes will continue to grow and more and more teachers will not have the time to focus on individual students and their specific needs.
As a result, how you as parents prepare your children for school will be critical to their success as thriving and successful students. At Preschool Scholars, we believe that it is more critical than ever that your child has a strong start and builds a solid foundation to be an independent learner and problem solver. We focus on this foundation with experienced and qualified Alberta certified teachers that know how to navigate Alberta’s school system and set up children for success. We focus on their critical thinking and problem solving skills to not just solve a question, but a consistent methodology on how to approach, systematically break apart, and then solve any problem at their learning level.

Why Preschool Scholars is the Right Fit For Your Child
Our curriculum is designed and led by highly-qualified teachers–developmentally appropriate for students ages 3 to 5. We integrate life experiences, social interaction, academics and fun to create an engaging environment conducive to learning. Our teachers are patient and hands-on. Students feel valued and motivated and are fully prepared to enter a formal school setting.
We remain on a continuous path of learning and work proactively to remain abreast of trends in early childhood education. We are NOT a daycare! Our students begin learning day one.

Our preschool is lovingly dedicated to the memory of Renu Rajput, whose passion for nurturing and educating young minds continues to inspire us every day. Renu believed that every child deserves to be loved, encouraged, and given the tools to thrive. We honour her legacy by creating a warm and supportive environment where children can flourish. Her dream lives on in every lesson, every smile, and every step our students take toward a bright future.
Having spent many years as both a professional teacher and a lifelong learner, I know firsthand the importance of creating an environment where children feel valued, confident, and excited to learn. I believe in the power of personalized attention, small class sizes, and a curriculum that not only meets but exceeds academic standards.
Each day, I am inspired by the curiosity and energy of our students, and it’s my mission to ensure they leave here not only prepared for the next stage in their education but also with a love for learning that will last a lifetime. I am honored to be part of your child’s journey and look forward to seeing them grow and succeed.
